castillo de san cristóbal

finished in 1793, san cristobal is the largest fort built by the spanish in the new world. a must see historical landmark in old san juan.

Santa María Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery.

This colonial era cemetery, named for Mary Magdalene sits by the Atlantic Ocean and the 16th century citadel, Morro Castle. Without sleeping the night before, we climbed the cemetery gates, at sunrise. I cannot imagine a more peaceful resting place.

made in the 80s.

On Thursday February 21st Arcade Asheville hosted “Product of the 80s,” an Asheville fashion showcase benefiting the Asheville Affiliates. Sarah Merrell did a lovely job organizing this event. A true homage to all 80s kids.
